HILARIOUS!
Quality Casting * (Great animation + Balanced sound levels + Cleverly timed and original humor) = AWESOME!
Definately suited for adult teenagers, so check your butt to make sure you're old enough!

Awesome
What I like about this piece in particular isn't just the awesome story, good animation, or the good audio and soundtrack. It was the stylization that you put into it. This animation had a unique feel that made me think of watching movies on TCM. I think you nailed the time period and also make a distinct style for your animation that makes you stick out above a lot of other artists.
This was my first animation of yours that I've watched on newgrounds, but I promise you it won't be the last. I can't wait for the sequel, whenever it comes out, and I'd be glad to help you with any voice acting you might need (I'm a Junior at a college for radio so I have access to facilities to record my voice and send it to you).
Ill definitely let you know if I'm ever looking for parts
Funny!
My favorite part was when his hands were in the fridge. Good stuff, I didn't know about Jim and his day before, but now I'm looking forward for Jim day next year!
Awesome, I'm sure you wont be disappointed!
Pretty good
Ironically I think this movie would of been done better as a whole with Stick-men. Overall I think it was good, the audio for the briefing in the very beginning of the series was hard to hear but the plotline wasn't too complicated so it's not like you couldn't figure it out.
Being picky: The rifle sling, WAYY too loose. Wondering how many problems you guys had going through the woods with the rifle sticking out like that. Not to mention (again being picky) rifle slings are supposed to be fairly tight against the rifle, just lose enough so you can wrap it around your arm once should you need to shoot standing up. This locks the rifle into your arm allowing for more stability.
Not being picky: Loved the neck snappage, cliche stick animation technique but awesome to see it done in real life! I especially loved the pistol view when you shoot out the log to land on the guy. I immediately closed the window and brought it back up just so I could get a replay on that!
Summary: It's a basic plot, nothing complicated and no twists. Doesn't matter, you made it entertaining to watch. The mics for the dialogue need improvement, not sure what you can do for that. You managed to do a lot of cool things with the camera and props you had and the only complaints I had were relatively minor. Good job and keep up the work!
Yea the audio quality and the start was intentionally poor, tried to make it sound like a little radio. We agree it could have been better. We appreciate the in depth review as well. So thanks alot, hope you continue to watch our stuff.
Another hit!
Again, quality animation and sound! As soon as I saw the picture of the "party" old guy from, what was it... seven flags? I knew the old man was going to do something spontanious. It was still awesome to watch and the ending line was perfect!
i'm surprised more people haven't mentioned that picture on the wall :-P
I liked it.
The original audio could obviously be better, I didn't understand anything they said in the Dragon Ball spoof. I thought the animation was decent and the humor was pretty good (the Zelda scene was hilarious). I just hope the viewers that lack patience or an attention span don't vote this down.
Yeah.. my mic sucks I know >< Thanks a lot for your concern :3
...
The movie isn't finished, so I ask you... why post it? It's good up until the screen goes white and then there's no point. If you wanted to post it early, why not make a trailer and go through with animating the actual events that lead up to the animation? Plotline is important to show just as much as the action and I bet you could come up with other superheroes with badass powers and do more fight scenes to show how they were captured. It's promissing, but don't submit unfinished work.
I posted it because I wanted people to see it. It did no good sitting in storage. As far as I know, NG has no rule against unfinished submissions. And I'll submit whatever the hell I want to submit.
I play guitar; play BF2; and spend a lot of time hanging out with friends. I'm politically active but let's stay off the subject to keep things friendly. I write my own music, favorite band is Reel Big Fish but I'm not a fan of some of their newer work.
